Delete a version

Versions with the EDIT or RELEASED (TEST) status can be deleted from Objective.

Versions with a RELEASED (PRODUCTION) or RELEASED (FINAL) status are relocated to Obsolete Versions and can no longer be deleted from Objective. It must always be possible to consult the data, a final released recipe or a recipe released for production!

  1. Choose Recipe Management > Recipes in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Unfold in the Navigation Pane the tree structure of the Recipes and My Recipes, and subsequently the tree structure of the desired recipe, the variant and the version.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the selection and choose Delete Version in the shortcut menu.
    • Choose Delete Version in the toolbar.
  4. Confirm in the dialog box Delete Version.
