Inputs

Every operation needs one or several components and/or intermediate items to create an item, which are defined in the inputs. This is where you prepare the BOM (Bill of Material) required for producing the item.

Furthermore, the following things can be set for the input(s) of an operation:

• The consumption registration.
• The serial number control, if the module Product Tracking & Genealogy is available.
• The WIP-IN inventory, if the module Material Management is available.
• The QC status, if the module Inspection & Quality Management is available.
• The inventory handling, if the module Warehouse Management Engine is available.
• The backorder options and the PLE handling, if the module Advanced Picking Management is available.
• The multilevel BOM properties, if the module Planning Management is available.
