Set consumption registration of an input

  1. Choose Recipe Management > Recipes in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Unfold in the Navigation Pane the tree structure of the Recipes and My Recipes, and subsequently the tree structure of the desired recipe, the variant and the version.
  3. Choose the tab Operations and select the operation.
  4. Choose in the tab Inputs the input.
  5. Choose the tab WIP Handling.
  6. From the option group Registration, choose one of the following options:

    Backflush

    The remaining quantity will be calculated automatically based on the output.

    An item in stock checked by serial number (SII) CANNOT be configured as backflush. (module Product Tracking & Genealogy)

    It is not possible to work with backflush in combination with external work centers. However, if backflush is set, the system will automatically switch to manual registration for an external work center. (module Subcontracting)

    Detailed
    • Where applicable, check the option Manual: The operator enters the input quantity he has added manually.
    • Check the option Automatic and enter the ID of the counter tag in the field Counter Tag ID. This counter registers the consumption of the input automatically. See Counter tags for more information.
    • If both options are checked, the registration takes place automatically. It is, however, still possible for the operator to enter a registration manually when the automatic registration fails, for example.
  7. Dependent on the chosen options, the following symbols appear in the Data Pane of the Inputs:
