Relocate inventory

If, for example after a stock check, the actual inventory is found to be in a different location than entered in Objective, the inventory can be relocated.

  1. Choose the tab Stock.
  2. Set how you wish to view the stock, see View inventory.
  3. Select an inventory.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Click Relocate Inventory .
    • Right-click the inventory and choose Relocate Inventory in the shortcut menu.
  5. Select the inventory that should be relocated.
    To select and deselect multiple inventory, use the buttons Check All , Uncheck All , Check Selection and/or Uncheck Selection .

    Click for an overview of the tasks that need to be performed on the inventory.

    On relocation of the inventory the tasks will not be canceled but transferred to the new location.

  6. Choose one of the following options in the option group Relocation Options:
    OptionExplanation
    Relocate SKUs

    Choose one of the following sub options:

    • Full Content: All SKUs will be relocated
    • Quantity: Enter the number of SKUs that need relocation.
    Relocate LPNs

    The LPN with the inventory at that time.

    Please note: This does not have to be a full LPN!

    Relocate top LPNs The (mother) carrier with all its sub LPNs (content) will be relocated.
    For empty reusable containers, only the function Relocate LPNs is available. For empty non-identified reusable containers, a container Quantity to relocate needs to be entered.
  7. Click Next.
    If the item is serial number verified and you chose to move the partial contents of the SKUs, you must specify which serial numbers are being moved. Go to step 8. If this is not the case, continue with step 10.
  8. Do one of the following to select the serial numbers that are being moved:
    • Check the serial numbers.
    • Scan the serial numbers.
    • In the field Serial Number, enter the serial number and press Enter.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Do one of the following in the option group Supplier Info:
    • In the field Destination Location, enter the name of the location and press ENTER.
    • Click Select a Location , select the location and click Finish.
    • Press ALT + L, select the location and click Finish.
  11. From the drop-down list Serial Number Registration, select one of the following options:
    OptionExplanation
    Location No LPN will be specified.
    LPN at Location An existing LPN can be selected or a new LPN created.
    Possible actions:
    • Select the required LPN and click Check Selection to mark this as the target LPN.
    • If the wrong LPN is checked, select this LPN and click Uncheck Selection .
    • Add New LPN : optionally, enter a name via the Add New LPN Wizard (otherwise the system automatically assigns a number), determine the container type or packaging configuration for the new LPN, and click Finish.
      Only 1 LPN can be added each time that the Split/Merge action is taken.
    • Remove New LPN : if, for example, a wrong container type was selected, the new LPN must first be deleted before a new LPN can be created.
    In the option group Destination Location Inventory you can view the inventory at the chosen location.
  12. Click Finish.
