Edit the inventory lock

Inventory locks can be applied to several elements like warehouses, locations, mobile racks...
  1. Select the warehouse, location, mobile rack...
  2. Choose the tab General > Inventory Locks.
  3. Click Lock .
    For warehouses, locations, mobile racks, pick zones and storage zones, first choose sub tab Lock status.
  4. Where applicable, in option group Lock Mode, edit one of the following options:
    OptionExplanation
    In/Out All movements of goods of the item are blocked.
    In

    The item is blocked for inbound movements.

    In this mode it is impossible to receive, putaway or relocate items. Items can still be picked or replenished.
    Out

    The item is blocked for outbound movements.

    In this mode it is no longer possible to pick or replenish items. It is still possible to receive/putaway items.
  5. Where applicable, in the drop-down menu Lock Reason, edit the lock reason.

    The lock reasons were entered via the Configurator.

    For example: QUARANTINE - Inventory has been quarantined.

  6. Where applicable, edit in the field Lock Description the explanation on the lock.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. A message about tasks that cannot be performed anymore may appear. Read carefully and click Finish.
