Add a stock check line

A stock check order consists of one or several stock check lines. It is only possible to add stock check lines to stock check orders in the status PLANNED.

Choose Warehouse Management > Stock Checks in the Navigation Pane.
Select the Stock check order in the Data Pane.
Choose the tab General > Stock Check Lines.
Click Add Stock Check Line .

Select one of the following options in the dialog box New Stock Check Order Wizard:

Option	Explanation
Location Based	The stock check is executed on a location. Choose one of the following sub options: Non-empty Locations Only, only the locations that are NOT empty according to Objective will be included in the stock check order. The stock check lines in empty locations are canceled automatically. Empty Locations Only, only the locations that are empty according to Objective will be included in the stock check order. The stock check lines in NON-empty locations are canceled automatically. Both, the locations that are not empty according to Objective, as well as the locations that are empty according to Objective will be included in the stock check order.
Item based	The stock check is executed on one or more items. Stock check lines are created for all locations of the item according to Objective. All Items On Location, all items are checked on the relevant locations. Only Specific Item On Location, only the relevant item is checked on the relevant locations.
Item/Location based	The stock check is executed on one or more items in one or more locations where the items are present. All Items On Location, all items are checked on the relevant locations. Only Specific Item On Location, only the relevant item is checked on the relevant locations. If there are no items in a location according to Objective the stock check line is automatically canceled.

Explanation

Location Based

The stock check is executed on a location. Choose one of the following sub options:

Non-empty Locations Only, only the locations that are NOT empty according to Objective will be included in the stock check order. The stock check lines in empty locations are canceled automatically.
Empty Locations Only, only the locations that are empty according to Objective will be included in the stock check order. The stock check lines in NON-empty locations are canceled automatically.
Both, the locations that are not empty according to Objective, as well as the locations that are empty according to Objective will be included in the stock check order.

Item based

The stock check is executed on one or more items.

Stock check lines are created for all locations of the item according to Objective.

All Items On Location, all items are checked on the relevant locations.
Only Specific Item On Location, only the relevant item is checked on the relevant locations.

Item/Location based

The stock check is executed on one or more items in one or more locations where the items are present.

All Items On Location, all items are checked on the relevant locations.
Only Specific Item On Location, only the relevant item is checked on the relevant locations.

If there are no items in a location according to Objective the stock check line is automatically canceled.

Click Next.
- If Location based is chosen: Select one or more locations and click Finish.
- If Item based is chosen: Select one or more items and click Finish.
- If Item/Location based is chosen: Select one or more items, click Next, select one or more locations and click Finish.
