Delete an order

Only an order in the status IDLE can be deleted.

An order which was automatically created to ship inputs to an external work center (order type EXTERNAL PRODUCTION) cannot be removed. To achieve this, unrelease the parent production order or operation. In that case, the order is automatically deleted. See also Unrelease a production order and External work centers.
  1. Choose Outbound Management > Orders in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select an order.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Delete Order in the toolbar.
    • Right-click the selection and choose Delete Order in the shortcut menu.
  4. Confirm in the dialog box Delete Order.
