Shipments

In Objective one or more orders can be assigned to a shipment. A shipment typically corresponds with a truck load. The loading sequence of orders can optionally be determined in the shipment.

Upon arrival, the carrier will report to the warehouse supervisor, who will release the shipment in Objective for loading.

Upon release of the shipment, Objective checks if all goods are marshaled. If this is not the case, the warehouse supervisor will receive an overview of the incomplete orders.

The carrier and the loading dock must be entered upon release.

On release, the load tasks of the marshaled goods are released for execution.

A shipment can be executed system directed or menu directed via the RF terminal.

After closing a shipment, a CMR report and a packing slip report can be sent to separate, dedicated printers. If necessary, the CMR and Packing Slip reports can be generated afterwards for a closed shipment. It is also possible to set an automatic pdf generation for CMR and packing slip.
