Drop Off Areas

Drop off locations are locations where the picked goods will be dropped off by the picker before they are collected to be marshaled. Drop off locations are configured in drop off areas.

A drop off area is an optional configuration. It can be linked to a work zone. In this case, when closing a picked LPN for a detail pick list from the work zone, a location of the drop off area configured for the work zone will be suggested. If there is no drop off area defined for a work zone, picked LPNs for a detail pick list will be taken straight to a marshaling area.
