Add inventory attributes

5 inventory attributes can be configured in total. The inventory attributes are created in WMS Settings > Inventory Settings and are configured further in the Receipt Settings, Order Settings, Return Settings and in MES Settings > Inventory Settings.

For example: The inventory attribute condition code can be added with the possible values: Scrap, rework, return.

  1. Choose System Management > WMS Settings > Inventory Settings in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Choose Configuration > Inventory Attribute Settings in the Data Pane.
  3. In the option group Inventory Attribute Configuration, check the field you wish to configure as inventory attribute.
  4. Enter the name of the inventory attribute in the field Title.
    The values are not limited by default. Only if you wish to limit the values, continue with the next step.
  5. Click No Restrictions in the Values column.
  6. Select the option Fixed List in the dialog box Enter Input.
  7. Click Add Value .
  8. Enter a value.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Repeat steps 7 and 9 until all values in the list are entered.
  11. Select a value and use the arrows to edit the sequence.
  12. Click OK.
  13. Where applicable, you can click Allow the user to edit this setting to ensure that the user (supervisor, operator) CANNOT use the inventory attribute. For example, in Wizard Edit Inventory Attributes in the module Warehouse Management of the Supervisor.
  14. Repeat steps 3 up to and including 13 to configure more inventory attributes.
