Set order options
- Choose System Management > WMS Settings > Order Settings in the Navigation Pane.
- Choose Configuration > Order Settings in the Data Pane.

In the option group Order Options, complete the fields below:
Field Explanation Close Order After Select one of the following options:
- Goods Have Been Marshaled, the order will be closed after the goods have been marshaled. After marshaling, Objective will no longer follow the goods. No shipments and deliveries can be created.
- Goods Have Been Shipped, after confirmation of shipment of all goods, the order is closed.
Default Backorder Option Select one of the following options as default backorder setting for adding a new order in the Supervisor:
- No Backordering, no backorders will be created.
For example: Only 3 of 5 pallets can be allocated. Shortages are reported directly to the supervisor.
- Backorder Shortages, backorders are only created for the shortages.
For example: Only 3 of 5 pallets can be allocated. A backorder is created for 2 pallets.
- Backorder All, Objective will not allocate any items from the inventory.
Orderline Consolidation Select whether the option for creating a new order in the Supervisor should be:
- Enabled
- Disabled
Automatic completion of consignment when all orders are complete Select one of the following options:
- Enabled
- Disabled
Kit To Order If an item has a kit recipe, and the option below is enabled, the item will be produced in case of a shortage.
Select one of the following options:
- Enabled
- Disabled

If required, click Allow the user to edit this setting to set if it must or must not be possible for the user (supervisor or operator) to edit the set default value.
The icon Allow the user to edit this setting is a toggle button. If enabled (preceded by the symbol ), it will NOT be possible for the user to edit the setting. If disabled (preceded by the symbol ), it will be possible for the user to edit the setting.
