Relocate a sample (using Warehouse Management)

Valid samples can be moved to a different location. A sample cannot be moved to a staging location, loading location or system location. The inventory attributes of the location must correspond. The locations must be an end location (the location may not contain any sub locations).

  1. Choose Warehouse Management and choose one of the following elements in the Navigation pane:
    • Warehouses
    • Locations
    • Items
    • Lots
    • LPNs
  2. Search for and select a warehouse, location, item, lot or LPN.
  3. Choose the sub tab General > Samples.
  4. Select the sample.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • Click Move Sample in the toolbar.
    • Right-click the selection and choose Move Sample in the shortcut menu.
  6. In the field Destination Location, enter the location or click Select a Location , select the location and click Finish.
  7. Click Finish.
