Quality control

Items that are quality controlled have a QC status.

A number of QC statuses can be defined that are applicable upon receipt of an item or later during production of a produced pallet or lot. A default QC status can be assigned to an item.

Examples of possible QC statuses:

  • QC BLOCKED: all actions are blocked,
  • QC HOLD: inventory can be assigned but cannot be picked,
  • QC INSPECT: inventory must be inspected before putting away,
  • QC REJECTED: inventory cannot be assigned,
  • QC RELEASED: all actions are allowed.

Per QC status can be set which operations (logistic and for production) may or may not be allowed (e.g. order-picking is/is not allowed).

It can be set which QC adjustments have to be carried out prior to an inspection and the QC can automatically be adjusted on the basis of the inspection results.
