Add a pre-receipt (with Receipts)

Upon adding a pre-receipt, receipt of the goods is already registered in theory. If necessary, an unloading dock can still be allocated.

  1. Choose Inbound Management > Receipts in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select a receipt.
  3. Choose the sub tab Receipt Lines.
  4. Select a receipt line.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • Click Add Pre-Receipts .
    • Right-click the receipt and choose Add Pre-Receipts in the shortcut menu.
  6. Where applicable, in the option group Lot Info, complete the following fields:
    FieldExplanation
    Lot Enter the lot number.
    Sublot Enter the sublot number.
    Production Date Click to select the production date.
    Best Before Click to select the expiration date.
    • The field Lot can only be completed if the item is lot controlled.
    • The field Sublot can only be completed of the item is sublot controlled.
    • The fields Production Date and Best Before can only be completed of the item is lot and/or sublot controlled.
  7. Where applicable, in the option group Inventory Attributes, enter the inventory attributes.
    • The inventory attributes are entered by the Configurator.
    • Whether or not these inventory attributes can be edited, is set by the Configurator.
  8. Where applicable, in the option group Quality Control, complete the following fields:

    QC Status Select from the drop-down menu a QC status.
    Description If necessary, enter a description of the selected QC status.
    • The quality control can only be entered for an item that is quality controlled. This setting is entered by the Configurator.
    • Whether or not the quality control can be edited, is set by the Configurator.
    • The possible values for the QC status are set by the Configurator.
  9. Click Next.
  10. In the field To Receive, enter the quantity that will be received.
    Click Display Backorder Lines to display all backorder lines for this item.
  11. Do one of the following:
    • To set pre-receipts to be added automatically, click Generate Pre-Receipts and continue with step 20.
    • To set pre-receipts to be added manually, click Add Pre-Receipt and continue with the next step.
  12. In the option group Pack Configuration, select one of the following options:

    Pack Configuration The goods are received according to the default pack configuration. Click Select Pack Configuration to choose a different pack configuration.
    Container Type

    Select this option and then select the container type for the goods to be received. Click Finish.

    Click Select Container Type to edit the container type.

    Bulk The goods are received in bulk.
  13. Click Next.
  14. In the option group Container Info, the field #/LPN will display the quantity that can be placed in the selected container type by default. This value can be adjusted if necessary.
  15. In the field Quantity To Receive in the option group Received Quantity, enter the quantity to be received for the selected unit.
  16. Where applicable, choose a different unit in the drop-down menu.
  17. In the other fields of the option group Received Quantity the quantity of full LPNs and remaining LPNs to be received will appear. The quantity of SKUs will appear as well.
  18. Click Finish.
  19. To add another pre-receipt, click Add Pre-Receipt and repeat from step 12.
    To remove a pre-receipt, select the pre-receipt and click Remove Pre-Receipt .
  20. Click Finish.
