Configure a putaway / relocation scenario

When configuring a putaway / relocation scenario rule blocks are added.

A well-working scenario must have at least two types of rule blocks. At least a 'search for' and a 'select' rule block, with one or more optional 'sort'-rule blocks between them.
  1. Choose Warehouse Management > Rules > Putaway / Relocation > Scenarios in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select a scenario in the Putaway / Relocation Scenarios tab.
  3. In the toolbar of the tab Rule Configuration click Add Rule Block .
  4. Select one or more rule blocks from the option group Possible Rule Blocks.
  5. Click to move the rule blocks to the option group Selected Rule Blocks.
  6. Click Finish.
  7. Select a rule block and use the arrows to adjust the sequence.
  8. Select a rule block and configure the rule block.

    To ensure a location being found, you can end the scenario with a rule block that uses locations close to the desk of the supervisor (problem locations). The supervisor will quickly notice anything going wrong and can check for which items the configuration must be edited.
