Unrelease an operation (via Gantt diagram)

To be able to move a released operation to another resource, the operation must first be unreleased.

  1. Choose Production Management in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Click the element Departments, Machines, (External) Work Centers, Resource Groups or Planning Cells.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Choose a department, machine, (external) work center, resource group or planning cell.
    • Choose My 'Element'.
    • Choose a filter.
  4. Choose the tab Planning.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • Select one or more operations, right-click the selected operation in the Gantt diagram and choose Unrelease Operation in the shortcut menu.
    • Select a machine or work center in the column Resource, select one or more operations in the sub tab Planning and click Unrelease Operation in the toolbar of the sub tab Planning.
  6. If the dialog box Wizard Unrelease Operation appears, choose one of the following options:
    • Unrelease all operations of production order 'Production Order'
    • Unrelease operation 'OperationName'
  7. Click Finish.
  8. Confirm if the dialog box Unrelease Operation appears.
