Advance the planning
When advancing the planning, all the planned operations (in the future) are moved to the current time, taking into account any set delays. Depending on the settings, the unplanned time (X) will be retained (1) or not retained (2). See Retain gaps when moving future planned activities to the current timestamp.

- Choose in the Navigation Pane.
- Select the planning cell.
- Choose the tab Planning.

Do one of the following to advance the planning:
To advance the planning of Action all operations in the Gantt diagram Click Move planned activities to the current timestamp 
in the toolbar of the Gantt diagram.all operations of one resource - Right-click the resource in the Gantt diagram and choose Advance planning in the shortcut menu.
- Select the resource in the Gantt diagram and select Move planned activities to the current timestamp
in the toolbar of the sub tab Planning.
