Add rules to an item
Specific rules per item can be set.
It is possible to add several rules of each type to an item.
- Add a putaway rule to an item
- Add a relocation rule to an item
- Add a crossdock rule to an item
- Add a pick rule to an item
- Add a replenish rule to an item
- Add a rule group to an item
- Add a filter to an item rule
Examples:
- several putaway rules can be added to an item that can be received in bulk or on a pallet
- multiple putaway rules can be added to an item depending on the receipt location in the warehouse
- several picking / relocation / replenishment / crossdock rules can be added to an item that can be stocked in bulk or on a pallet
- a different relocation rule can be added to an item stocked at a certain location compared to the same item stocked at a different location
- Several replenish rules can be added to an item with multiple pick locations, pick zones or LPN buffers
If no specific rules are entered for an item, then the rules set in the rule groups apply.
