Configuration
First, parameter definitions can be added. It is important here that a data type is assigned, and possibly a Uom. For a clear overview and to add filter possibilities, parameter definitions can be grouped in groups and subgroups.
Subsequently, parameter configurations can be set up using these parameter definitions. It is determined on the basis of a number of criteria which target value will be applicable when releasing an operation.
The following criteria can be set:
The system will with take the sequence above into account to set priorities.
For one and the same parameter definition, multiple configurations can be set up, with a unique set of criteria which will lead to a standard value with possibly upper and lower limits.
At a large quantity of parameter configurations, it can be more transparent to view and edit them per criterion.
Go through the following steps to define parameter configurations:
- Add a new parameter definition. To facilitate the configuration, an existing parameter definition can be duplicated.
- Existing parameter definitions can be edited or removed.
- Free fields and translations of the name and description can be added to a parameter definition.
- Subsequently, the set parameter definitions can be used to define new parameter configurations. To facilitate the configuration, an existing parameter configuration can be duplicated.
- The criteria and the settings of existing parameter configurations can be edited. Undesired parameter configurations can be deleted.
- Free fields can be added to a parameter configuration.
- An overview can be obtained of which parameter configurations exist for a certain parameter definition. It can be checked via a resolve path if one or several parameter configurations are applicable for an entered combination of criteria.
- The parameter definition can be added to a setup instruction, a data collection instruction or a measurement instruction to determine the standard value and possible upper and lower limits based on the best fitting parameter configuration.
