Edit instruction parameters

The application of the instruction within a production route is set via this procedure.
  1. Choose the operation.
  2. Choose the tab Instructions and select the instruction.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Edit instruction Parameters in the toolbar.
    • Right-click the selection and choose Edit Instruction Parameters in the shortcut menu.
  4. Click the sub tab Production Routes and enter the following fields if required:
    FieldExplanation
Production Route Equipment Module ID Enter the ID of the relevant equipment module.
Production Route Instruction If checked, the selected instruction is also applied if it occurs in a production route.
Enabled when not in production route

It is possible to link an instruction to a production route if the relevant equipment modules do NOT occur in the production route.

Example: an instruction to switch off a printer has to be enabled if that printer does not occur within the route.

If checked, the selected instruction is also applied if it does NOT occur within the production route.

  5. Click the sub tab Processing Properties, and check Reprocess attribute on execution if required.
If not checked, the value of the setup parameters of setup instructions which are set with an attribute as default value are calculated once when the production order is released.

If checked, this value will be recalculated during execution.

Example: When the operator changes the lot on a running operation, the new lot ID has to be sent to the PLC using a setup instruction.

  6. Click OK.
