Add a new item group

  1. Choose Item Management > Items in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click New Item Group in the toolbar of the Data Pane.
    • Right-click Item Groups or My Item Groups in the Navigation Pane and choose New Item Group in the shortcut menu.
  3. Complete the fields below from the option group General of the dialog box New Item Group Wizard:
    FieldExplanation

    Name

    (mandatory field)

    The name of the item group.

    Description The description of the item group.
    ID Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual ID.
    Category Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual category.
  4. Add items to the item group in the sub tab Items.
    An item can be added to multiple item groups.
  5. Where applicable, add free fields. See Edit free fields via tab (Configurator).
