Edit a KIT order

Only a Kit order with the status IDLE or PLANNED can be edited.
  1. Choose VAL, Kit & Repack Management > Kit Orders in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select a KIT order.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Edit Kit Order in the toolbar of the tab Kit Orders.
    • Right-click the Kit order and choose Edit Kit Order in the shortcut menu.
  4. Where applicable, in the option group Kit Order Info of the dialog box Edit Kit Order Wizard, complete the fields below:

    Description The description of the Kit order. For example: Compose gift basket.
    Due Date

    Where applicable, check to change the expected date (the date when the Kit order should be executed). Next, click to select the expected date. You can select an earlier as well as a later date.

    For example: If an order is processed later than expected, you can still enter the expected order date - even if it is in the past.
    Priority The higher the priority, the sooner the Kit order will be executed.

    Choose in the drop-down menu Priority one of the following values: Very High, High, Normal, Low, Very Low.
  5. Where applicable, in the option group Item Info of the dialog box Edit Kit Order Wizard, complete the fields below:

    The item cannot be edited any more!

    Quantity

    (mandatory field)

    The quantity that has to be produced.
  6. Where applicable, in the option group Inventory Attributes edit the inventory attributes.
    • The inventory attributes are entered by the Configurator.
    • Whether or not these inventory attributes can be edited, is set by the Configurator.
  7. Where applicable, you can click the bottom of the tab Instructions to add any instructions needed for the correct composition.
  8. Click Finish.
