Changeover Optimization
Changeover optimization involves refining the planning process to apply changeover time only when necessary. Cleanup, setup, and startup durations can be individually activated based on the planning context. This configuration can be tailored for each resource group and overridden to specify resources.
Changeover Time refers to the time a machine needs to transition from one job to another. This process includes cleanup time, setup time, and startup time.
Cleanup duration:
This process includes cleaning and sterilizing the machine to prevent any contamination.
Set up duration:
This process includes adjusting the equipment or replacing non-adjustable “change parts” to ensure the machine is prepared for production.
Startup duration:
This process includes fine-tuning, providing new inputs, or installing necessary components for the machine.
Overrule Changeover:
You can override filter fields at the resource level, allowing you to apply a different filter to a specific resource than the one used for the resource type.
