Add bin name configurations

Without a bin name configuration, the name of the bin will get a fixed structure which consists of the names of each level, separated by dots Via this procedure, the separator can be set, the sequence of the levels in the name can be edited and levels can be disabled.

Choose System Management > WMS Settings > Warehouse Settings in the Navigation Pane.
Choose Configuration > Warehouse Settings > Specific in the Data Pane.
Click Add Configuration .
Choose warehouse for which you want to add a bin name configuration.

It is not possible to add a configuration for a warehouse that has already added locations.
Select the warehouse you want to configure in the list.
In the option group Warehouse Name Separator under the tab Bin Name Configuration, enter which separator you want to use between the different levels.
By default, a dot is used as separator. This field can only be left blank.
In the option group Warehouse Bin Name Configuration, enter the sequence of the levels to determine the bin name. If required, levels can also be disabled.
At least one level must have the type Bin.

It is not possible to configure 2 levels with the same type.
To remove a bin name configuration, select the warehouse in the list and click Remove Configuration.

Only a bin name configuration for a warehouse for which no location are configured yet can be removed.
