Delete a component

If a component is defective, it can be removed from the product passport to clarify that it still needs to be replaced by another component.

Condition: This action can only be executed if the column 'Operation' contains a value.

  1. Choose Warehouse Management > Serial Numbers in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Look up the serial number.
  3. Choose the vertical tab General > Components.
  4. Select the component.
  5. Click Remove Component .
  6. Confirm in the dialog box.
    The serial number becomes invalid, but the component remains in the product passport.
