Repack orders on the request of an outbound order

Repack takes place upon the issuing of an outbound order. Complete LPNs can be repacked (by wrapping it in foil, for example), the content of the LPN can be repacked, or LPNs can be repacked on another LPN (for example: The content of 2 LPNs could be combined to 1 complete LPN).

The repack is executed at a work center. For example: Different items are picked and placed on a pallet for an order. The pallet and its contents are moved to a work center, where it is wrapped in foil and labeled.

For example: From pick zone A and B 2 pallets with boxes are relocated (1) to the WIP-IN location (2) of the work center (3). At the work center the content of the pallets is combined on 1 pallet. For this the operator receives instructions via the PC at the work location (4). The finished repacks are moved to the WIP-OUT Location (5) of the work center (3). After that, the repacked LPNs are marshaled or loaded (6).
