Select a changeover attribute

One of the KPI's that can be used to determine the most optimal planning is the number of changeovers (switch items to produce on a resource, switching between production orders, switching between customers,...).

Via this procedure, you can set which changeovers you want to minimize, on the basis of an attribute (for example: name of the item, priority of the production order, ID of the customer,...)

  1. Choose Production Management > Planning Cells in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select the planning cell.
  3. Choose the tab Planning.
  4. Click Edit Planning .
  5. Click User Properties .
  6. In the option group Scheduling > Changeover Attribute click Select Changeover Attribute .
    The dialog box Wizard Changeover Attribute appears.
  7. Select the attribute you want to use.
    The Name of the Item to avoid changeovers between different items as much as possible.
  8. Click Finish.
  9. The attribute's path is displayed with Changeover Attribute.
    Operation > Production Order > Item > Name.
  10. Click Finish.
