Add a new label configuration

In label configurations you can set what label should be printed on which printer, this for an item, item group of a certain customer, supplier or carrier.

  1. Choose Resource Management > Label Configurations in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Click New Label Configuration in the toolbar.
  3. In the option group Resource of the New Label Configuration Wizard choose one of the following options:
    OptionExplanation
    Any The label can be used for all customers, suppliers and carriers.
    Customer

    The label can be used for the selected customer.

    Do one of the following:

    • Enter the name of the customer.
    • Click Select Customer or press ALT + T, select the customer and click Finish.
    Supplier

    The label can be used for the selected supplier.

    Do one of the following:

    • Enter the name of the supplier.
    • Click Select Supplier or press ALT + S, select the supplier and click Finish.
    Carrier

    The label can be used for the selected carrier.

    Do one of the following:

    • Enter the name of the carrier.
    • Click Select Carrier or press ALT + R, select the carrier and click Finish.
  4. From the option group Item, choose one of the following options:
    OptionExplanation
    Any The label can be used for any item.
    Item Group

    The label can be used for the selected item group.

    Do one of the following:

    • Enter the name of the item group.
    • Click Select Item Group , select the item group and click Finish.
    Item

    The label can be used for the selected item.

    Do one of the following:

    • Enter the name of the item.
    • Click Select Item or press ALT + I, select the item and click Finish.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Choose a label template in a label group.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Select a printer or printer group.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Choose the label.
  11. In the option group Print Options in the field #Copies enter the number of label copies needed.
    If for a specific label configuration the number of copies is set to 0, no print job will be triggered. Printing will then be disabled for this specific configuration.
    If there already is a label configuration with the same settings this label configuration will be overwritten!
  12. Click Finish.
  13. Where applicable, add free fields. See Edit free fields via icon (Configurator).
