Add a new indirect activity

  1. Choose Production Management > Indirect Activities in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select an indirect activity group in the Data Pane.
  3. Choose the tab Indirect Activities.
  4. Click New Indirect Activity .
  5. In the option group General of the dialog box Wizard New Indirect Activity, complete the fields below:
    FieldExplanation

    Name

    (mandatory field)

    The name of the indirect activity.
    Description The description of the indirect activity.
    ID Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual ID.
  6. In the option group Options, check the following boxes:
    FieldExplanation
    Employee Exclusive If checked, the employee cannot perform any other (direct or indirect) activities when performing this indirect activity.
    Terminatable The indirect activity can be terminated to start another (direct or indirect) activity.
  7. Click Finish.
    You can copy an indirect activity and paste it in the same or another indirect activity group.
  8. Where applicable, add free fields. See Edit free fields via tab (Configurator).
  9. Where applicable, add translations. See Add translations via tab.
