Configuration

The line balancing can be set specifically for the recipe. If one or several resource groups are added, balancing schemes can be added to them, and these can be enabled or disabled.

Go through the following steps to configure a balanced production line:

• Add a balancing scheme with the required takt time. See Add a new balancing scheme.
• Add an operation to the desired resource type, and set this operation as Balanced. If required, set the operation as repair operation. See Add an operation to a resource type.
• Add operation steps to this operation, and configure them. See Configure operation steps.
• Add a resource group, and add one or several balancing schemes to it. See Add a new resource group and Add a balancing scheme to a resource group (via Resource Group).
• Add the operation to the recipe. If required, add a repair operation to the recipe. See Add an operation to a recipe.
• Add the resource group to the recipe operation. See Add a resource group to an operation.
