Show stock break information

Module Warehouse Management Engine required.

It can be set via a toggle button that possible stock breaks can be visualized for a planning cell, an operation and a resource via the Gantt diagram.

  1. Choose Production Management in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Click the element Departments, Machines, (External) Work Centers, Resource Groups or Planning Cells.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Choose a department, machine, (external) work center, resource group or planning cell.
    • Choose My 'Element'.
    • Choose a filter.
  4. Choose the tab Planning.
  5. Click Show Stock Break Information .
    This is a toggle button, so it will remain activated until disabled again.
  6. Click Refresh Data .
    If a gray warning symbol appears top left of one or several operations in the Gantt diagram, one or several stock breaks have been detected. In the table of the sub tab Planning, the same symbol is displayed in the lines of the operations where a stock break is detected.
    After activation of the icon Show Stock Break Information, the stock breaks must be calculated to obtain correct information. This can be done at 3 levels (planning cell, resource and operation), see the following procedures:
