WIP locations

On a machine or work center one can add WIP-IN locations (consumption sites), WIP-IN pick zones (zone with consumption locations) and WIP-OUT locations (manufacturing facilities). WIP-IN locations are the locations for the items the machine or work center needs in order to produce. The WIP-IN Pick Zones create a dynamic approach. The items are placed in function of the production order and are automatically replenished and evacuated. Finished products are placed at WIP-OUT locations. WIP-IN locations, WIP-IN Pick Zones and WIP-OUT locations can be used for multiple machines or work centers.

If also working with the module Warehouse Management Engine, and more than 1 WIP-OUT location is added, it is recommended that the WIP-OUT locations belong to the same work zone.
