Day Codes

Codes indicate the nature of a performance. Codes are created when they are needed for the interface to the remuneration package or when the performance represented by the code needs to be calculated.

The Day Codes (8) describe the basic performances divided over 3 categories.

  • Attendance Codes (8a): The actual performances,
  • Absence Codes (8b): All possible absences,
  • Special Codes (8c): Contain flexible hours performances (accumulation and compensation of overtime) and counters that can be expressed in units (for example meal coupons).

For every defined code, certain properties can be defined, like:

  • A color used in the visual overview and planning report
  • A unit (hours, days, minutes)
  • Cost distribution (cost centers)
  • Transfer to balance codes to settle in a global counter or not, e.g. to register overtime or holidays
  • Free fields, e.g. to save the external wage code as it is known to the payroll administration agency
