Add a new general day rule

A general day rule is a rule that applies to the entire day (across all segments).

It is recommended to create general day rules.

For example: Overtime is divided into blocks. Overtime will be paid after the first 2 hours. Process this in the general day rule. If adjustments need to be made, this needs to be done only in the general day rule, for example an adjustment to 3 hours.

  1. Choose Attendance Management > Rules > Day Rules > Day Rules in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Choose the tab General Day Rules.
  3. Click New Rule in the toolbar.
  4. Select one or more rule blocks from the option group Possible Rule Blocks.
  5. Click to move the rule blocks to the option group Selected Rule Blocks.
  6. Click Finish.
  7. Change the name of the general day rule.
  8. Select a rule block and use the arrows to adjust the sequence.
